Many methods are employed. Some people choose a designer to

to do it by themselves. Before choosing a stone, the buyer needs to be educated
about granite in general and it is also important that the supplier or
manufacturer-installer be understood in the matter. You can choose granite by
visiting a factory or a producer, or by visiting a granite distribution
warehouse and selecting the tables there, or you can choose from a small sample
of the stone in a store. It is recommended to know something about granite and
buy it as if it were to buy a car. Here are some ideas for this selection
process.
1.- Many of the granites that are offered and chosen have
streaks. Architects and designers usually select for their buildings a more
commercial stone that has no designs on the granite but is consistent in grain
and structure. For countertops, however, many buyers want variation, multi-color,
streaking and movement. To achieve this, select the general color you want to
limit the choice of what fits your installations, walls, appliances, floors and
design together. Visit various showrooms and distributors to see what they can
offer you, as not two sites always have the same offer. Once you choose from a
small sample the stone that interests you, make at least three choices when you
are already limiting the field, insist on seeing the entire table of those
materials. This will open your eyes and make you see yourself asking, is this
same stone I saw in the showroom? You will see movements and a balance or a
lack of balance in the table where possibly one of its ends has all the color
